Write For Us

Starpreneur Hub publishes practical, experience-based guides on SEO, digital marketing, WordPress/web tools, and startup growth for small business owners and solo entrepreneurs. We accept guest contributions from writers who can demonstrate real expertise or hands-on experience in these areas.

We’ve updated our submission standards to align with Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness). Please read this page fully before pitching — submissions that don’t meet these standards will be declined without individual feedback.

Every article published under Starpreneur Hub’s byline or accepted as a guest post passes through our editorial team review for accuracy, originality, and relevance before it goes live.

What We Publish

  • SEO and digital marketing strategy, written from direct campaign or client experience
  • WordPress, hosting, and small-business web tooling — comparisons, how-tos, troubleshooting
  • Startup and solopreneur growth: validation, pricing, tools, and early-stage decision-making

We do not publish:

  • General “top 10 companies” or “best agency” roundups written to link to a single business
  • Content with no clear author, or written under a generic/brand username
  • AI-generated drafts submitted without meaningful human editing, fact-checking, or added expertise
  • Previously published or lightly reworded content (checked via plagiarism tools before acceptance)
  • Pitches from guest-post networks or link-placement services submitting the same article to multiple sites

Author Requirements (Experience & Expertise)

To meet E-E-A-T standards, every contributor must provide:

  1. A real byline — your full name, not a company or brand account.
  2. A short bio (2–3 sentences) stating your relevant experience: your role, years in the field, or a specific project/result related to the topic.
  3. One credibility link — a LinkedIn profile, personal site, or portfolio we can use to verify who you are. Submissions we can’t verify are declined.
  4. A headshot or profile photo for your author page.

We prioritize writers who can speak from direct, first-hand experience (you ran the campaign, built the site, launched the product) over writers summarizing what others have said.

Content Guidelines

  • Length: 1,200 words minimum for how-to/guide content; no strict maximum, but every section must earn its place.
  • Originality: Original analysis, examples, screenshots, or data from your own work. Don’t just restate what’s already ranking on page one.
  • Structure: Clear H2/H3 headings, short paragraphs, and a direct answer to the reader’s actual question — not a slow build-up.
  • Accuracy: Cite sources for any statistic or claim. We fact-check before publishing.
  • No keyword stuffing. Write for the reader first; we’ll handle on-page SEO.

Link Policy

  • One contextual link to your site or a relevant resource is allowed within the body, if it genuinely helps the reader (a tool, a further reading resource, original research).
  • One link in your author bio.
  • We do not accept: exact-match anchor text stuffing, links to unrelated commercial pages, casino/gambling/adult/pharma/crypto-trading sites, or any paid link placement. Undisclosed paid links will be marked rel="sponsored" or removed, and the article rejected.
  • If your submission is sponsored or you have a financial relationship with a product mentioned, disclose it in your pitch. We’ll either add a disclosure or decline — we won’t publish undisclosed promotional content.

How to Submit

  1. Pitch first, don’t send a finished draft. Email a 2–3 sentence topic idea, your proposed angle, and your bio/credibility link.
  2. We’ll respond within 5–7 business days if it’s a fit.
  3. Once approved, submit as a Google Doc (not directly into WordPress) so we can review and edit before publishing.
  4. We reserve the right to edit for clarity, structure, and SEO, and to decline publication if the final draft doesn’t meet our standards even after pitch approval.

Why We’re Strict About This

We tightened these guidelines because low-quality, unverified guest content and unmoderated link submissions actively hurt a site’s search visibility and reader trust. We’d rather publish fewer, better-vetted articles from real practitioners than a high volume of generic posts. If that’s the kind of platform you want your name on, we’d love to hear your pitch.
